Hire Your Snow Gear with Us!

The biggest and best range of rental equipment and the friendliest and most helpful staff.

The Snow & Waterski Company has a fully stocked and comprehensive rental department that will cater for the needs of the entire family.

Why queue up on the mountain wasting precious time when you can get all your gear sorted out with us before you leave!

This year we have BRAND NEW snowboards and THE BEST snowboard boots you will find in any rental department in all of NZ!! They have only just come out of the box and feature Salomon's Speed Power Lacing system which involves simply yanking them up and off you go! Less time faffing about in the car park and more time on the snow!!

We are also the ONLY place in Auckland that you can hire TWIN TIP ski's. These are part of our executive rental line-up and are updated every year.

This year we have done away with the old standard rental ski boots and now all of our rental ski boots are executive boots meaning more comfort and better fit.
We do recommend you call in-store some time before you plan on going to the mountain to pre-book your rental equipment as our rental department can be fully booked at busy times.

Cheapskates Takapuna

Cheapskates have moved into/taken over the shop at 75 Barry's Point Rd and will operate our ski hire business for us. Nothing much has changed other than the look of the shop – still the same great ski/board gear, from the same place @ the same prices – its just the shop LOOKS a little different ☺
Come in and see Mike, Jenny and the crew who will kit you out with everything you need for a fun time at the snow!

Cheapskates hours are Mon-Wed 9.30-5.30pm, Thur 9.30-7pm, Fri 9.30-5.30pm, Sat 9-6pm and Sun 10-5pm Phone: 09 489 4161

* Youth is 15 years and under. NOTE ON CHARGES & REFUNDS Credit card details are always asked for as security against loss, damage & theft. All our skis/boards are tuned & our boots & clothing sanitised after use. Loss or damage is your responsibility and will be charged for accordingly. Rental isnt charged for travel to & from the mountain. If the mountain is closed a rental credit will be given for the value of the hardware only. Clothing & accessories are not able to be refunded or credited.
