Ski School
Wakeboard / Waterski / Barefoot

Wakestars (the ski school division of Snow & Waterski) operates one of New Zealands longest running waterski and wakeboard schools in the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour.
Great for beginners or for those wishing to refine their technique, everything is supplied – 19ft fully kitted out, custom-built, ski/wake boat; the best & most experienced instructor; wakeboards, waterskis & buoyancy vests; and beautiful glassy calm water!
UPDATE!! Now that we don’t have the constraints & considerations of a physical retail store we are able to do ski schools anywhere between the Bay of Plenty/Taupo in the south and the Kai Iwi Lakes in the north (within reason of course and could be subject to a travel charge) If you are located out of Auckland please ask!!:)
THE INSTRUCTOR

David May is the owner/operator of both The Snow & Waterski Co and Wakestars. An accomplished slalom skier and past New Zealand representative barefoot waterskier, he has been skiing and instructing for over 25 years. With all that knowledge and experience, we guarantee success out on the water!!
THE BOAT
We use our 19ft ski/wakeline custom built ski boat for all lessons except the advanced wakeboard course (which uses a specific wakeboard boat). A 300HP Mercruiser sterndrive gets even the biggest blokes out of the water with no effort.
The boat also features
